We’re thrilled to welcome Manuela Moollan to the Shift4Good Impact Committee, bringing two decades of experience at the intersection of sustainability, entrepreneurship, and finance. Based in Singapore, Manuela advises businesses on circular economy strategies and helps design impact-driven initiatives across sectors and waste value chains.

A passionate advocate for systems change, Manuela believes in the transformative role that startups can play in decarbonizing transportation—a sector whose emissions are still on the rise. What drew her to Shift4Good is our holistic approach: investing across the entire transport value chain, from battery recycling and maritime software optimization to micro-mobility insurance.

Growing up in a congested city and witnessing firsthand the health effects of air pollution, Manuela has long been committed to improving how we move—making mobility not just cleaner, but more accessible and equitable. From France to Southeast Asia, her perspective is both global and grounded in lived experience.

“I’m excited to work alongside a team of visionary founders and impact experts to explore the real trade-offs and opportunities that come with scaling sustainable transportation,” she shared.

As an Article 9 fund under the EU’s SFDR, Shift4Good is committed to the highest standards of impact measurement and transparency. Manuela’s expertise will be instrumental in helping shape our sustainability policies and evaluate the progress of our portfolio companies.

Thierry de Panafieu, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Shift4Good, noted:
“Manuela brings her wealth of sustainability experience for businesses to Shift4Good, and will help shape our sustainable standards and policies going forward in addition to verifying impact at our portfolio companies.”

Tima Bansal, Chair of the Impact Committee, added:
“Manuela brings a wealth of practical knowledge that will strengthen Shift4Good’s ability to decarbonize the transportation industry.”

We’re honoured to have her on board as we continue to back entrepreneurs driving climate innovation where it’s needed most.
